On September 27, 2024, at the National Convention Center, Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA) in coordination with Vietnam MICE Club (VMC) successfully organized  MICE 2024 tourism business connection event – MICE EXPO 2024. New Experience Tours Co. VLC TOURS was honored to participate in organizing the MICE EXPO 2024 event as Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee.

MICE EXPO 2024 had a special meaning when it was held on September 27 – World Tourism Day with the message from the United Nations Tourism Organization (UNT): Tourism and Peace.

MICE EXPO 2024 had gathered 500 companies to participate in business connections and 800 delegates to attend, creating a playground for businesses to promote products and together identify trends, build development plans as well as “Positioning Vietnam’s MICE tourism brand on the world MICE tourism map” – in line with the spirit of the event. At the forum, delegates exchanged and discussed solutions to promote the development of MICE tourism in Vietnam, through 3 main topic groups including: Assessing the role of MICE tourism; Developing MICE tourism destinations; Developing MICE tourism services.

Delivering speech at the opening ceremony, Mr. Vu The Binh – Chairman of Vietnam Tourism Association emphasized that after the COVID-19 pandemic, a series of tourism types have developed remarkably, becoming a significant role  of Vietnam Tourism, including MICE Tourism. It is a type of tourism that combines meetings, seminars, conferences, incentive and exhibitions of businesses, companies, and corporations for their staff, employees and partners.

MICE EXPO 2024 included main activities such as: Trade promotion – Business Matching B2B is a meeting of 150 Sellers who are hotels, cruise ships, destinations, event venues, golf courses, event equipment suppliers, gifts, land tour companies and other organizations and 500 Buyers who are representatives of travel companies, event companies, media companies and other organizations will meet together to discuss products, form large buying groups and sign cooperation contracts…

Along with MICE EXPO 2024, the event also had the 2nd VMC Golf Cup organized to be integrated into the Fam group to create sports tourism products combined with competitions.This is also a product that is creating a trend in the market. The event took place on September 28 – 29, 2024 in the coastal city of Ha Long.
